How to have it more your way

Ok, so you have seen loads of gorgeous invitations, but you're after something very specific and are having trouble finding it anywhere.  Well, I may be able to help!  I offer a bespoke design service to all my lovely customers, in which I can help to create just the right design for you.  In the first instance you can just go right ahead and click on the GET IN TOUCH link up there on the top menu.  Just let me know that you are looking for a bespoke design and I will be in touch with you to take all the details, run you through your options and let you know if I can help

After that, I can give you an estimate and if you wish to go ahead and have me develop the design and make a digital sample it's a simple case of booking a design slot through my Etsy shop, GettingHitchedOutlet..  

Each Design Slot is £50 and is a non-refundable deposit that covers the cost of my time and materials in creating your bespoke design.  This deposit will be credited against a full order for that same design.  I have a few Design Slots available for each month of the year, so you can choose the appropriate month.  You should book a slot that is at least two months in advance of the date you are wanting to send out your invitations.

Oh don't have that much time?  Don't worry,  I offer one Express Design Slot each month, so check that for availability.  Please understand that if you do book an express service, you'll be expected to make decisions quickly and it's really important that you read the description of the Express Slot BEFORE you book, as it contains a list of all the info you will need to have at your fingertips before I can start.


The design process and refinement of that design to your satisfaction can take anywhere up to 4 weeks, depending on the level of detail required, and the number of refinements made.  Once the design is all agreed, then my usual processing time of 21 working days from receipt of payment comes into play.  


Because of the time consuming nature of bespoke design the minimum order required is 40 invitations (or other stationery), excluding seating plans, table numbers and menus. I can certainly make less than 40 items, however you must be aware that the pricing will be based on an order of 40, even if you only have 20.  Does that make sense?


It is always a good idea to order a few more invitations than you need and I would usually recommend between 5 and 10.  This will give you peace of mind if you make any errors or you have any unexpected extra guests. It is important to realise  that it will be considerably cheaper to add the extra’s on to your main order than it will be to order a very small number at later date.


If you would prefer your guest names printed on your invitations or place name cards instead of hand writing them yourself, there is an additional cost of £35.  I can also include envelope printing of names and addresses for £35, or you can save money and purchase my Full Printing Service which is £60. You will need to provide a list of names/addresses either in a word or excel document or in an email..  Please note that names and addresses are not proofed as part of the invitation proof, so please check for errors thoroughly before sending me the list.

The printing services can be booked through my Etsy shop, GettingHitchedOutlet, either at the time you pay for your invitations or at a later date (so long as the printing is not already complete of course!)
